Digital Photo Papers

Digital Photo PapersAfter we process the captured image digitally, we print them on digital photo papers. Now they become hard copies. The quality of photos, images, characters, etc. depends on the papers used. We get far more better results when we use high quality papers.
Unlike traditional photo papers, digital photo papers are easy to find and have more options to choose from. Manual papers are sensitive to lights. They get ruined when we exposed them to normal lights. In that case, we have to keep them out of reach of lights in dark places. This is very much ambiguous job.
Digital papers come in various sizes like A3, A4, B4, B5, etc. All we have to do is to decide how big are we going to print. We need not store them in dark places as they are not sensitive to lights. They are easy to handle and efficient to use.
Papers from Canon, Konica, Kodak are the most popularly used papers. If we have good knowledge regarding the resolution of various papers, it would be more easy to understand the necessary requirements for fine prints.

Processing Images

Processing ImagesProcessing images is simply creating hard copy of images we capture. It includes processes like editing, color management, printing, etc. The image processing technique in ancient days and modern days is only different in the sense of use of film and chemicals. In old days, after the images were captured in films, the films were processed in the chemicals in dark rooms to convert them into negatives. When the negatives are ready, again they are taken to dark rooms to create photos after undergoing same chemical process used for negative. We may feel these kinds of processes so complex and tiring.
Now, we just have to click and download to computer and send to printer. We can also just click and print directly. In case we want more or less finishing and size, we can edit or process the images using various computer applications and softwares. We just have to manage less time and get more results.
Digital photography has not only made the processing easy but also has provided wide range of options to make our photos more attractive and mermorable.

Lights

Lights
The word 'Photo' is derivation from the word 'Photon' which means the light rays. In this sense, light plays a major role in photography. When we click the shutter button, the aperture ring opens for short time. In this short period, light rays strikes to the object and enter through the lens, into the ring and makes traces on photo sensitive film.
Similarly, in modern digital cameras, the digital chips interpret the light rays and convert them to pixels to form an image digitally.
We may come across many professional photographic lights as we can find lots of such products. Only we have to do is to choose one to meet our demands. In the meantime, we shouldn't forget that only a better light can't give a better result. We need to have better quality of cameras and lights to get better indoor photos. Then what about outdoor photos? Consider, we have a great source of nature. Yes, the sun is the best source of light for photography. We can't get as better photos in sunlight in any other lights.
However, we have been using flashes, video lights and much more and they are doing well too...
Prolink chrome, Eline chrome, falcon Eyes, etc are leading companies to manufacture studio lights.

Cameras History

Cameras History

A camera is literally a device (analog or digital) used to capture images. These images may be still (photograph) or moving (videos). The term CAMERA was derived from the camera obscura (dark chamber, latin) which was an early mechanism for projecting images. The modern cameras were manufactured from the concept of camera obscura.
Camreas not only work with the light of visible spectrum but also the protions of electromagnetic spectrum. Generally, it consists of an enclosed hollow, an opening (called an aperture) at one end for light to enter. On the other end, there is a viewing surface for the light to enter. Most old fashioned cameras used photographic films and papers while modern electronic cameras use digital chips and papers.
A typical still camera once capture a images the time you press the shutter button. The camera obscura was a darkened chamber or a box into which the light was allowed to pass through a convex lens. The images were fromed on the surface of paper, ice, glass, etc. The camera obscura was first described by an arabian scientist Ibn al-Haytham (Alhazen) in his Book of Optics (1015–1021). English scientist Robert Boyle and his assistant Robert Hooke developed a portable camera obscura in the 1660s.
The first camera obscura was small and portable enough to practical use built by Johann Zahn in 1685. At that time, there was no any reliable way to preserve the images captured by these cameras but manually tracing them. In compensation to that, Johann Heinrich Schultz discovered a silver and chalk mixture darkening against the exposure to light. Before the exposure, a sensitive plate would be placed in front of a viewing screen to capture the image.

Choosing Cameras

Choosing Cameras
Currently, we have around 6500 varieties of cameras to choose from. This makes our understanding and choosing capabilities so difficult and we may sometime get misconception regarding megapixels.
Similarly, we just get stuck into the fansy advertisment and neglect the photographic features. Just because the camera is said to be featured with 3 MP, it doesn't mean that we get to use the full 3MP. Further, these so called pixels play vital role in determining the size and quality of images we take. Regarding an example, a professional camera with certain MP may outperform in detail and size due to larger imaging chip.
All these mean that we have to take many things into consideration while buying cameras rather that looking what's written on the box. What's most important is are you happy with what you bought? It means, are you fully satisfied with the quality so that you can safely store your beautiful and valuable moments. The quality of cameras doesn't upon the number of MP but is determined on the basis of chip used, lens to capture and in-built software inside the camera. So, you should defenetly have as least the knowledge of lens, bits and resolution used my the cameras.
On contrary, what I think is the revolution of digitization on photography has broken the boundary of mm quality as those traditional cameras. Now you can decide which camera to buy analysing the quality right at the moment in the camera store.

Replica On Photography Method

Replica On Photography MethodIn the beginning of 21st century, the dominant method of viewing still images has been on computers and, to a lesser extent. These have led to a decrease in film and film camera sales and film processing, and has had a dramatic effect on companies such as Fuji, Kodak and Agfa. Consequently, many stores that used to offer photofinishing services or sell film no longer do, and those that do have seen a rapid decrement.

Traditional photos and images have always been prone to declining of image quality due to sun exposure or negligence in the storage of film negatives, slides, and prints. Since digital images are stored as data on a computer, the image never loses visual quality, detail, or fidelity as long as the digital media remains intact. The way of ruining the digital images is to delete the image file, corrupt or re-write some of the image file's data, or damage or destroy the electronic storage media that contains the file. Like other files, making backups is the most effective way of ensuring a digital image can be recovered.

Digital Photography: Opportunity & Challenge

Digital Photography: Opportunity & ChallengeNo doubt that digitization on photography has brought great opportunity. Now we can edit our images the way we like. We can easily cut, join or morph photos. We also can surprise other with various tricks using photo based softwares like photoshop.
However, we also shouldn't forget the challenges on its way. We should be careful about the current laws and provision regarding the use of photos officially. We shouldn't neglect the reality of an individual while creating or editing their images. In the same way, as people have been so famillier with the digital photography, carrying out necessary of modification and consideration in the field of photography is important.
Various softwares companies regarding digital photography and hopeful and relevently careful about the current need of their end users. Not only this, but also the manufacturers of digital cameras, accessories, etc should know the intentions of their customers so that they can receive good response . When errors are considered, it would really be and opportunity for the mankind in the history of photography.
